Ed Sheeran Collaborates with Heinz

I Don't Care hitmaker Ed Sheeran has unveiled a new line of 'Tomato Edchup' ketchup bottles, in collaboration with Heinz.

Ed Sheeran for Heinz The award winning singer/songwriter, known for his love of tomato sauce, made headlines when he publicly approached Heinz and asked to collaborate in April 2019, and took to Instagram to confirm the news, posting 'It's actually real and you’ll be able to get your hands on one very soon #Edchup #KetchupDay #EDxHEINZ'. In the minute-long TV commercial, Ed is seen walking into an ‘super posh’ restaurant while narrating the message he actually sent to the ketchup company. RELATED: Ed Sheeran Named Ambassador For Hoax According to Ed, the idea sprung to mind while walking into a fancy eatery which was the "type of place with chandeliers, paintings on the wall and too many forks on the table." Acting out the actual scenario, the 28-year-old singer sits at the dinner table as the waiter presents a slap-up meal with fancy names of dishes he can’t pronounce. Ed says: ‘The food looked good, I just thought there was something missing.’ As the other wealthy diners look on in horror at the mere sight of a ketchup bottle inside of such a fancy establishment, Ed flips the bright bottle, gives it an obligatory bangs against his hand to budge the ketchup and smothers it all over his food. And Heinz Tomato #Edchup is officially born. Ed’s love of ketchup is no secret as he has spoken about it before in interviews and even has the Heinz logo tattooed on his arm.
