Independent jeweller Burrells has announced that double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes will be its new brand ambassador.
Dame Kelly Holmes is one of the UK’s best-loved athletes, but also has global respect as a role model and an inspiration.
When Dame Kelly Holmes won gold in both the 800m and 1500m at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she became the first Briton in 84 years to do so.

The Burrells store in Tunbridge Wells (one of our four stores across the UK) has been proud to have Dame Kelly as a customer for some time, and the team here are delighted with the new partnership. At the Retail Jewellery Awards, Dame Kelly commented:
