Sir Lewis Hamilton is one of the greatest racing drivers in Formula One history. Born on 7 January 1985 in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, he has broken numerous records during a career defined by speed, consistency and extraordinary determination.

Hamilton's talent became evident from an early age through karting, where he won multiple championships before progressing through the junior racing categories. Backed by McLaren from childhood, he made his Formula One debut in 2007 and immediately challenged for the World Championship.

In 2008, Hamilton became the youngest Formula One World Champion at the time and the first Black driver to win the title. His move to Mercedes in 2013 proved transformational, leading to one of the most successful partnerships in Formula One history. Together they dominated the hybrid era, with Hamilton winning multiple world championships and setting records for Grand Prix victories, pole positions and podium finishes.

Beyond racing, Hamilton has become a prominent advocate for diversity, inclusion and environmental sustainability. He has supported initiatives aimed at increasing opportunities within motorsport while also promoting animal welfare and climate awareness through his charitable work and personal lifestyle choices.
