Adria Arjona: Biography

Adria Arjona is a Guatemalan-Puerto Rican actress known for her work in film and television. Her credits include Good Omens, Andor, Emerald City, Morbius and The Absence of Eden.

Early Life

Adria Arjona Torres was born on 25 April 1992 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her father, Ricardo Arjona, is a Guatemalan singer-songwriter.

Arjona spent part of her childhood travelling because of her father’s career before eventually moving to Miami and later New York City.

Acting Career

Arjona began her acting career with television roles, appearing in productions including Person of Interest and Unforgettable.

She gained a more prominent role in the NBC fantasy series Emerald City, in which she played Dorothy Gale.

Good Omens

Arjona played Anathema Device in the Amazon Prime Video series Good Omens, based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

The role introduced her to a large international television audience and allowed her to work alongside actors including David Tennant and Michael Sheen.

Film Career

Arjona has appeared in films including Pacific Rim: Uprising, Triple Frontier, 6 Underground and Marvel’s Morbius.

She also starred in the science-fiction film Father of the Bride and the drama The Absence of Eden.

Andor

Arjona joined the Star Wars universe in the Disney+ series Andor, playing Bix Caleen. The series is set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
