Nespresso Casts Andy Garcia Alongside George Clooney

Andy Garcia joins George Clooney in the latest adverts for Nespresso.

Andy Garcia for Nespresso Andy Garcia joins long-stading celebrity ambassador George Clooney in Nespresso's latest TV commercial. Set to Mel Torme's song, the ad, called "Comin' Home, Baby," features Clooney in the cars of Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear in The Muppet Movie, Janet Leigh in Psycho, Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit and John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, as well as on the back of Peter Fonda's motorcycle in Easy Rider and racing on the titular, champion horse in Seabiscuit. Clooney's Ocean's 11 co-star Andy Garcia appears as himself in the video and as Clooney's fellow Nespresso lover. RELATED: George Clooney for Martini "After the success and positive response to our first U.S. brand campaign with George Clooney, we are excited to launch our newest approach with our dedicated brand ambassador," Guillaume Le Cunff, president of Nespresso USA, said in a statement. "George Clooney has been a wonderful partner for many years, in the U.S. and globally, bringing the Nespresso brand essence to life in many ways – certainly through his entertaining advertisements but also through his work with the Nespresso Sustainability Advisory Board, championing our commitment to farmers and providing high quality, sustainable coffee to coffee lovers around the world."   Rather than uttering a word, Clooney, who has been working with Nespresso for more than 10 years, charms viewers with his animated facial expressions (and impressive dance moves alongside John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles). After finding out Garcia had actually traveled to bring him Nespresso from their newest machine the VertuoPlus, the dad-to-be delivers his only line in the whole spot: "Nespresso. What else?" The campaign activates in the US and Canada, across television, digital, dedicated web films, social media and on the existing microsite. Save Save
