Anthony Hopkins Fronts Brioni Fashion Campaign

Fashion label, Brioni has launched its fall/winter 2017 campaign featuring Hollywood actor, Anthony Hopkins.

Anthony Hopkins for Brioni Brioni has enlisted Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins as model and brand ambassador for its 2017 fall/winter advertising campaign. The cinematic luminary effortlessly flaunts the Italian luxury imprint’s upcoming range in a series of monochromatic photographs captured by LA-based photographer, Gregory Harris. Standout items include a checkered long coat, a sleek sport-coat with matching trousers, and a silk-blend scarf boasting an intricate floral motif. Both Hopkins and Brioni are established cultural staples, albeit in different areas. But together, they create a type of nostalgic, old-school vibe. Of course, that might have something to do with all the photos being shot in black and white. The Italian fashion brand is known for its timeless eye for design, focusing on great suits, tailored jackets, and unrivaled tailoring. Hopkins is wearing just that in this campaign too; he's styled in topcoats, a double-breasted jacket, and a fashion scarf. Hopkins' distinguished-gentleman look is a 180 from former Brioni creative director Justin O'Shea's bad boy-chic fashion campaign starring members of Metallica, who styled their crisp tuxedos with beanies and shaggy 'dos.
