British presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg stars in a new social media campaign for IHG Hotels & Resorts, When the Host Needs Hosting, highlighting the experience of being looked after while travelling.
The campaign plays on Dimoldenberg's role as the host of Chicken Shop Date, turning the idea of hosting on its head as she steps away from her usual role and becomes the guest. The concept explores what happens when someone who is accustomed to hosting others gets the opportunity to sit back and let somebody else take care of the details.
As part of the campaign, Dimoldenberg showcases the idea of a hotel stay as an opportunity to switch off from planning and everyday responsibilities. The collaboration highlights the hospitality experience, from having accommodation and arrangements taken care of to simply enjoying time away without having to organise every detail.
