  Cat Deeley is an internationally successful television presenter whose career spans British and American broadcasting. Born Catherine Elizabeth Deeley on 23 October 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, she first entered the entertainment industry as a model before discovering her passion for television presenting.  Her breakthrough came in the late 1990s when she became the co-host of the popular children's programme SMTV Live. Alongside Ant & Dec, Deeley helped create one of the UK's most successful Saturday morning television shows, earning praise for her humour, spontaneity and rapport with both guests and audiences.  Following the success of SMTV Live, Deeley presented numerous entertainment programmes including CD:UK, award ceremonies and reality competitions. Her lively presenting style and quick wit made her one of Britain's most sought-after television hosts. She later relocated to the United States, where her career flourished further. Deeley became the long-time host of So You Think You Can Dance, earning widespread acclaim and multiple Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Host. Her ability to connect with contestants while maintaining an energetic live television presence helped make the programme a global success.  Throughout her career, Deeley has interviewed countless celebrities, hosted major live events and presented programmes across entertainment, fashion and lifestyle genres.
