Pop princess Pixie Lott was proposed by Celebrity Group to Simba Smoby Toys to become the face of and “best friend” of the hugely popular fashion doll “Steffi Love”. Fashionista Steffi appeals to young girls from 5-10 and has sold over 20 million units in the past few years is now regarded as a worthy rival to the Barbie Doll.
Prior to signing Pixie Lott Celebrity Group were in discussions with numerous US young stars such as Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Miley Cirus, Jennifer Lawrence and many others. However, it was decided that British born Pixie ticked all the boxes and above all had the right wholesome “look” Simba had in mind.
The new Pixie Lott/Steffi Love range of fashion dolls was officially launched at the London Toy Fair in January 2015 and will be in the shops for Christmas 2015.
