Love Island 2019 finalist Curtis Pritchard has been announced as WW’s new brand ambassador, following in the footsteps of Alison Hammond and Robbie Williams.
Love Island‘s Curtis Pritchard is the newest face of WW – formerly known as Weight Watchers.
The dancer was trolled over minor weight gain during his time in the villa earlier this summer, leading to Love Island releasing a statement condemning the online comments.
Since leaving, Curtis has admitted that he gained weight, but had the best time of his life doing so. “‘I’m not going to lie – I probably gained a couple of pounds,” he said in an interview. “I won’t deny that at all, but I enjoyed it, that’s the thing. It’s the first time I’ve just been myself.”
While he’s clearly super content being coupled up with Maura and generally living the dream, the dancer has decided he wants to tone up – and he’s partnered up with WW to do so.
“I have tried many ‘crash’ diets but none of them have worked for me. They don’t allow me to eat properly so I find myself binge-eating and the weight piles back on. This makes me feel really low and I lack motivation.
“I am really excited to join WW as an ambassador and pleased to be following a programme that’s right forme this isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about being a healthier version of me. I want to build healthy habits that allow me to adopt the right mindset, and sustain a healthier and active lifestyle that fits around my schedule.’’
Curtis is going to be following the WW plan, and tracking his journey on social media.
