Heidi Range

Heidi Range is a British singer/songwriter and an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten.

She later joined the Sugababes in 2001 and has since accumulated six UK number one singles as well as two number one studio albums with the group. She was born in Walton, Liverpool, to Paul Range and Karen Livingstone. She has a full sister Hayley, and four half-siblings: Christopher, Taylor, Sam and Jersey. Heidi Range began singing at three years of age and her first show was when she was three and she performed "Hey Little Hen" at the Neptune Theatre in Liverpool, her hometown. Range had always wanted to become a professional singer, and in 1997 auditioned for a place in Scooch, however, was turned away when it was revealed that she was only fourteen. In 1998, Range, along with Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona, formed the group Atomic Kitten. In 1999, Range left the group with no album released. In August 2001, Range replaced Siobhán Donaghy of the Sugababes, who left the band in 2001. Her first album with the group, Angels With Dirty Faces, peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart, achieving triple platinum status, and is the group's to date highest selling album.The album produced UK chart-toppers “Freak Like Me” and “Round Round”, both certified silver by the BPI. Range enjoyed success with Buchanan and Buena following the release of Three (2003), which reached number 3 in the UK and spawned the number one single "Hole in the Head". The group's fourth album, Taller In More Ways (2005), topped the UK Albums Chart, becoming the band’s first number one album domestically. Its lead single, “Push the Button”, reached number one in four countries, and peaked in the top three across Europe and in Australia. In 2007, FHM listed Range as the 94th sexiest woman in the world. Heidi participated in the 2012 season of ITV1 series, Dancing On Ice. Her partner was due to be Sylvain Longchambon, but after he pulled out with an arm injury she was partnered by Russian ice skater, Andrei Lipanov.
