After Dinner Speakers: Tony Slattery, Trev & Simon, The Buzzcocks

Tony Slattery is a talented actor, writer, singer, dancer, comedian, and intellectual. Aside from his roles in theatre, television, and film, he is perhaps best known from his appearances the improvisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway? During his time as a student at Cambridge University Tony was introduced to the theatre. He joined the Cambridge Mummers and then, upon the urging of Stephen Fry, became a member of the famous Cambridge University Footlights Dramatic Club. There he met a lot of future stars including Richard Vranch, Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson. Tony has appeared in numerous TV series, plays, musicals, radio shows and films and more recently has revived Whose Line is it? In a series of charitable live productions Recovering from depression Tony was elected as Rector of Dundee University, a position Stephen Fry had held for the previous 6 years.
