Tim Lovejoy is in a unique position at Sky Sports as he is the only producer/presenter, combining both roles for the Saturday morning show Soccer AM. Together with co-presenter Helen Chamberlain, Tim conducts four hours of football mayhem that has boasted a diverse list of high profile guests during the last two seasons. Chris Evans and Danny Baker have both appeared on the show, whilst pop stars Noel Gallagher, The Beautiful South, Shed Sevens, The Bluetone and Primal Scream have rubbed shoulders with a league of footballers including Robbie Fowler, Frank Leboeuf and Rio Ferdinand.Tim’s Television career began with MTV after a spell working as merchandise manager for a number of touring bands. After working as a covering video jockey for the channel he worked as a researcher for The Big Breakfast before producing the show. Soon after this idea for Britain’s only football breakfast show was hatched as Tim joined Sky Sports at the beginning of the 1996-97 season.Tim celebrated his first season with Sky Sports by watching his beloved Chelsea play Middlesborough in the FA Cup final, and has since played in the celebrity match before the reported clash in the 1998 Coca-Cola Final. His football team, The Badgers, are currently touring the country on an AXA sponsored tour, official sponsors of the FA Cup.Whilst continuing his commitment to football in its many forms, Tim is making huge inroads in radio having recently become the presenter of the 10-1pm slot on the London based station X-FM (104.9fm)
