After Dinner Speakers: Steven Norris, Robin Grove-White, Heather Locklear
Steven Norris was Conservative MP for Oxford East and then Epping Forest between 1983 and 1997, becoming Parliamentary Private Secretary to three ministers.
In 1992 he became Minister of Transport in London and held the post until 1996 becoming one of London's best-known political figures in the process. In 1997, Steve became Director General of the Road Haulage Association but in 2000 he stood as Conservative candidate for Mayor of London.
He is now a director of a number of quoted and private companies including Jarvis plc, First Group's London Bus operations and ITIS Holdings plc. He is Chairman of the National Cycling Strategy Board and President of the Motor Cycle Industry Association.
He is also a prolific broadcaster and writer with a regular column in Property Week and regular radio programmes to his name. He is frequently in demand as an after dinner speaker and conference chairman.
