After Dinner Speakers: Stan Boardman, Fred Dibnah, Lenny Beige

One of Britain's funniest personalities with a wealth of experience in TV and live entertainment. First making his national television debut on Opportunity Knocks, Stan Boardman managed to hit the big-time without actually winning the competition. His first appearance on stage was in a Liverpool club where getting booed off was the usual reception, from there to winning the star act of the year award at Butlins and on to the London Palladium. Gracing television in the 1970s in the Comedians with Jimmy Tarbuck, Jim Bowen, Tom O'Connor, Jim Davidson and Roy Walker Stan Boardman sits well amongst all of these comedy greats. He is one of them!
