After Dinner Speakers: Rory McGrath, Terry Jones, Linda Evangelista

Rory McGrath, the bearded panellist from They Think It's All Over, is well known for his piercingly sharp observations and cruel jokes, often at the expense of his team captain Gary Linekar. The show, also starring Nick Hancock, Jonathan Ross and David Gower, has become the most popular comedy panel programme on British TV. Rory McGrath first wrote comedy script at 14, a talent he maintained at Cambridge University and repeatedly proved with the cult success of Chelmsford 123, Not the Nine O’clock News and Alas Smith and Jones. An obviously funny, and not so obviously intelligent, Rory also writes for BBC Knowledge programmes History Fix and History Quest. Overtly laddish on the small screen and a die-hard Arsenal fan, Rory McGrath is a hugely enjoyable personality
