Robin spent the first part of his career, from 1963 to 1971 as a freelance writer for television, radio and press in the UK, United States and Canada. In 1972 he was appointed assistant secretary of the Council for the Protection of Rural England, becoming director from 1981 to 1987. Robin has also held various other senior positions during his career, including Vice Chairman of the Council for National Parks and Chairman of Greenpeace UK.He is a regular contributor to a number of publications such as The Times, Guardian and Nature magazine.Robin is a very accomplished speaker on subjects ranging from the environment to nature. A wonderful keynote speaker.
