After Dinner Speakers: Richard Whiteley, Boothby Graffoe, Danny Glover

Richard Whitely was the first person to appear as the ‘Countdown’ host on Channel Four, and will continue in this role for many years to come. Richard was also Yorkshire Television’s anchorman for its flagship news programme, ‘Calender’ for over twenty years. His recent dabble into the world of chat shows with ‘Richard Whitely Unbriefed’ became great opposition to other primetime chat show programmes like Ian Wright and Graham Norton. Famous for his television partnership with Carol Vorderman, his ghastly puns and his garish selection of ties, he has become a bit of a cult British television figure. Richard makes an amusing awards and conference host, and has worked from BT to the Department of Trade and Industry.
