After Dinner Speakers: Phil Hammond, James Gooding, Fay Ripley

Phil qualified as a GP in 1987, and still practices part-time and lectures in Medical Communication at Bristol University. With ‘STRUCK OFF AND DIE’, Phil enjoyed three sell out seasons at the Edinburgh festival, and he is about to record a new series for BBC radio. Phil’s many presenting credits also include six series of ‘Trust me, I’m a Doctor,’(BBC) ‘The Motion Show,’(BBC), and he has been a panelist on ‘Have I got news for you?’(BBC) and ‘Call My Bluff.’ He also writes a monthly column for ‘SHE’ magazine, and a weekly column in The Express newspaper. His first book, ‘Trust me, I’m a doctor’ was published last year. Phil is a very clever, extremely amusing after dinner speaker, guaranteed to enliven even the quietest audience.
