After Dinner Speakers: Peter Cochrane, Alan Davies, Petula Clark

Peter Cochrane joined the GPO in 1962 and held a variety of technical and engineering positions until his retirement from the then demerged BT in 2000. He then formed the highly successful IT company Conceptlabs, in Silicon Valley, California in an association with Apple Computers. Peter holds multiple qualifications in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunication Systems and holds visiting teaching chairs at Southampton and London Universities He led a team that received the Queen's Award for Innovation & Export in 1990 and was awarded an OBE in 1999 for his contribution to international communications. A true technology Buff and an extraordinarily entertaining speaker on telecommunications and electrical engineering issues and developments.
