After Dinner Speakers: Paul Merrett, Piers Morgan, Larry King

Paul trained under Gary Rhodes at The Greenhouse in Mayfair, London, following an apprenticeship at The Ritz and three years working with chef Peter Kromberg at Le Soufflé. He then moved to The Terrace Restaurant at the Meridien Hotel, in Piccadilly Circus, where he established a reputation for British cuisine with an Asian twist. In October 1997, Paul took over the kitchens at Interlude in Charlotte Street, W1, where his food continued to earn rave reviews. In an unusual twist of fate, just as Paul was awarded his first Michelin star at the restaurant, it was bought by investors and then closed down! Paul has now returned to The Greenhouse and won it a Michelin star. Paul's television experience has included several appearances on Channel 4's Light Lunch, as well as Superchefs on the Carlton Food Network. He was also a regular presenter on the BBC's Fresh Food series which was broadcast in July 1999. He has been guest chef of the week for Food Network Daily on the Carlton Food Network, and also co-presenter on UK Food's daily live programme, Good Food Live. In his latest series, The Best, Paul presents alongside Silvana Franco and Ben O'Donoghue, with each of them battling it out to win over the tasting panel with their best culinary creations.
