Born in Edinburgh in 1976, Kirsty soon moved to Berkshire when her father became the Club Pro at Wentworth and she lived in the area before moving to London.
A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Kirsty's other interests include art and music but she is as likely to be spotted on the golfing green as in London's art galleries as she has been playing golf since the age of ten. She also actively enjoys swimming, tennis and live football.
The daughter of former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher, Kirsty previously worked on the other side of the camera first as a production junior before becoming an editorial assistant on Sky Sports' award winning golf coverage.
