After Dinner Speakers: Josie D'Arby, Acker & His Paramount Jazz Band Bilk, Stomp
Josie started out in 1995 as a CBBC presenter, and left Studio 9 in 1997 to launch Channel 5's main youth programme, The Mag. After two years at The Mag, Josie transferred to hosting duties on UK Play's The Phone Zone, and its evolution as Top Of The Pops @ Play, and BBC2's Top of the Pops Plus. Her associations with the TOTP spin-offs gave licence to Josie hosting the main programme on many occasions. Josie has also focused her skills as an emerging actress; in the summer of 2002, she joined the cast of BBC ONE police drama Mersey Beat as graduate constable Jodie.
