For the first fifteen years of his career beginning in the mid 1970's, Jeremy Paxman was a roving reporter for the BBC covering events in Northern Ireland, Beirut, Uganda and Central America. In the late 1980's he went on to present Newsnight, a role he continues to this day, aswell as University Challenge and Start the Week on Radio 4. Jeremy has also written widely for newspapers and magazines. His books include Friends in High Places: Who Runs Britain?and The English: Portrait of a People. Jeremy is an authoritative host and compere and a powerful speaker.
