After Dinner Speakers: Jasper Carrott, Tom Brokaw, Acrobats Unlimited

Jasper Carrott made his first showbiz appearance as resident singer at the Boggery Folk Club in Solihull where he discovered his unique talent for comedy. In 1975 Jasper released his first single, ‘Funky Moped/Magic Roundabout’ and sold over half a million copies. He then made his first television series in 1978 with ‘An Audience with Jasper Carrott’ for LWT. In 1979 Jasper was then named as ITV Personality of the Year and went on to make the live series ‘Carrott’s Lib’ in 1983 which won a BAFTA award. In recent years Jasper has experienced sell-out shows in the major theatres of the country, including a sell-out fourteen night run in the 2000 seater Birmingham Hippodrome and a two week season at the famous Haymarket in London’s West End. Jasper is a very experienced and wickedly funny after dinner speaker or awards host.
