After Dinner Speakers: Honor Blackman, Geoff Hurst, Alan Davies

Honor Blackman has had a long and varied career in films, television and theatre. She starred opposite Patrick Macnee in the iconic Sixties TV series "The Avengers" before achieving even greater fame as Pussy Galore in the Bond film "Goldfinger". Her many other films include "Life At The Top", "Moment to Moment", "Quartet" and "The Virgin and the Gypsy". Other recent feature film credits include playing the role of Joy Adamson in "To Walk With Lions" and Margaret Smith in "Shadows". In recent years, she has starred in the highly successful television comedy "The Upper Hand". Her other recent television appearances include a guest lead in the BBC serial "Doctors", "The Sight" the highest rated show on Fox's Sci-Fi channel, and as a presenter of the "Holiday" programme also for the BBC. Her theatre credits are extensive and include the highly acclaimed one woman show "The Life and Times of Yvette Guilbert" which toured Britain culminating in a season at the Edinburgh Festival and her current one woman show "Dishonourable Ladies" which continues to tour nationally and has been presented at the Criterion Theatre.
