After Dinner Speakers: Helen Atkinson-Wood, Vanessa Feltz, Louise Redknapp

Helen Atkinson-Wood, actress probably most famous for her role as Mrs Miggins in Blackadder the Third, co-written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. She was also a prominent member of the cult radio comedy programme Radio Active, where she played the role of Anna Daptor, reprised in the televisual equivalent of Radio-Active, KYTV. An accomplished stage performer, Helen recently appeared in The Seagull, directed by Greg Hersov and Cold Meat Party, directed by Graham Murray, at the Royal Exchange Manchester. Nominated as Top Female Comedy Performer in 1992 and 1993, Helen is a most highly respected actress with an ability to play many parts, yet bringing superb timing and wit to comedy roles, confirmed by her many guest appearances in shows like Alas Smith and Jones and The young Ones.
