After Dinner Speakers: Hans Liberg, Peter Sutherland, Goldie

AA sensation across Europe, Hans Liberg has been described as 'the new Victor Borge'. Armed with a Ph.D in musicology and a wry line in comic back-chat, Hans will take you on an hilarious musical trip. In cabaret he accompanies himself with piano, bass guitar, trumpet and a 14th Century Dutch harpsichord from Delft. The journey takes us from Beethoven to Prince via Bach, Gandhi, The Rolling Stones and Elton John. This historic 'mega-mix' allows Hans to play Rachmaninov while discussing sandwich fillings and to dwell on Mozart's close relationship with Lord Lloyd-Webber. He also presents his findings on the connections between jingles and classical music. Hans can perform in several languages, which makes him the perfect entertainer for multi-national audiences. Hans Liberg has performed with the Northwest German Philharmonic, The Dusseldorf Symphony Orchestra and the North Dutch Philharmonic, and in theatres all over the world. Amongst other honours, he has won an Emmy Award, a Special Mention at the Golden Rose Festival in Montreux and a Rockie nomination in Canada for "Liberg Zaps Himself."
