Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards came to fame in 1988 when he spectacularly failed to even come close to winning a medal at the Winter Olympics. He made a pop-record which went to No.1 in Norway. In 1988 he was a council worker but has since been studying to become a lawyer. He is great at photo-opportunities and gives a very funny speech.
