After Dinner Speakers: Darren Day, James Caan, Rob McElwee

Darren Day was born Darren Christopher Graham in Colchester in 1968. Excellent at athletics, music, drama and snooker! The latter leading him to the semi-pro circuit. It was at an exhibition match that a BBC producer, impressed by his impersonations of his opponents, offered him the job of presenting the CBBC show Clockwise. An appearance at the Children's Royal Variety Show followed in 1991 but it wasn't until 1993 that Darren got his first big break in the musical adaptation of the Dickens classic, 'Great Expectations' Continuos stage work followed including his best known performances in Summer Holiday, playing the Cliff Richard role of Don Diversifying into television with shows like Vanessa’s Day With. and Don’t Try This at Home along side Davina MaCall, he is perhaps most recently famous for his jungle appearance with other celebrities in the first series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
