Brian Jacks was a familiar sporting face on sporting programmes in the early 1980s His regular winning appearances on the globally successful 'Superstars' series turned him into a household name in England. Career-wise, Jacks was the youngest ever-British eighth-dan and he competed in over 3000 tournaments worldwide including World, European and Olympic Championships. He is now president of a judo club in Kent, England where he continues to attract youngsters to the sport. Brian Jacks remains idolised and admired and is able to give a rare and interesting insight into the tough world of competitive Judo.
