Sir Bobby Charlton joined Manchester United as an amateur in January 1953. Two years later, on his 17th Birthday, he turned professional. His full debut against Charlton Athletic in 1956 saw him mark the occasion with two goals. During his career Sir Bobby played 751 times for Manchester United between 1956 to 1973 and he made 106 appearances for England, including the 1966 World Cup victory. He also scored 49 goals for England.Sir Bobby has more recently been involved in the England World Cup bid and he is still a key member of staff at his beloved Manchester United. As one of the World's best known and respected footballers of all time Sir Bobby Charlton is a big name to have have any event. He is a brilliant after dinner and motivational speaker.
