Bob Bevans background is journalism and public relations. He has been the deputy editor of a travel trade magazine and he was Group Director of Public Relations for European Ferries for 14 years, aswell as twice running his own PR agencies.His other great love is sport. He is known as 'the Cat' due to his goalkeeping backgroud as an amateur player and he is a very keen cricketer and member of the Lord's Taverners. Bob has made countless appearances on television programmes, such as Auntie's Sporting Bloomers and Jim Davidson Presents, and he has presented Radio 5's Six-O-Six Show.He is a previous winner of the Benedictine After Dinner Speakers Award and is known as one of the country's funniest after dinner speakers. He is a highly acclaimed speaker who's act has travelled all over the world for companies such as British Leyland, Ford and B & Q.
