After Dinner Speakers: Anna Walker, Ian St. John, The Reduced Shakespeare Company
Anna comes to Garden Invaders via presenting Big Strong Boys and a range of programmes covering sports, health and fitness, and wildlife. Off screen Anna is a bit of an action-woman too. She loves off-piste skiing, golf and tennis, and has private pilot and scuba diving licenses.
When it comes to gardens, her favourite plant is the orchid. She has quite a collection at home - in the conservatory, on window-ledges and in a hanging basket.
Her biggest gardening inspiration is her son. As a result of working on Garden Invaders and seeing how much can be done with small spaces, Anna is planning to revamp her own garden to make it more of an 'adventure playground', so he can have hours of fun.
For more 'grown-up' garden inspiration, Anna loves the RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Chelmsford. She says: "It's cleverly divided into different areas that inspire you, and has some fantastic natural wood carvings, which make you want to stay there forever!"
Anna's most memorable TV gardening moment is having the hose in her hand for the first time and soaking the rest of the crew (avoiding the camera, though!).
