Andrew Lloyd Webber is composer of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Tell Me on a Sunday, Cats, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love and Sunset Boulevard together with numerous film scores and other productions. In 1977 he founded the Really Useful Group which produces his own work and that of other writers. Among the latter are Daisy Pulls It Off and La Bęte, both Olivier Award winners, The Hired Man and A R Rahman’s smash-hit musical Bombay Dreams, which he is preparing for its North American premiere in 2003/4. A re-written version of Tell Me On A Sunday starring Denise Van Outen will open in London in the spring of 2003 His awards include seven Tonys, three Grammys, six Oliviers, a Golden Globe, and an Oscar, He was knighted in 1992 and created an honorary life peer in 1997
