Allan Lamb made his debut for England in 1982 against India at Lords, he became an integral part of a team was part of the 1980s England team that achieved that rare thing a an ashes series win. Along with Ian Botham, Bob Willis and David Gower, Allan Lamb personified an era in English cricket that was most exciting. The former County skipper, who scored more than 20,000 First-class runs for Northamptonshire and represented England in 79 Tests and 122 one-day internationals is a wonderful speaker and has much of interest to tell of county and international cricket.
