After Dinner Speakers: Wayne Sleep, Julia Carling, Roger De Courcey

Wayne Sleep was born in 1948 and trained at the Royal Ballet School, he joined The Royal Ballet in 1966 and became a principal dancer in 1973, going on to dance a variety of character roles. In 1980 he set up Dash, his own dance company. Wayne has also starred alongside Sean Connery and Donald Sutherland in the highly acclaimed film The First Great Train Robbery, where his gymnastic abilities were tested to the full. A contestant in th second series of I'm a celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Wayne was eventually voted out in fourth place with a broken foot and a great if unlikely comedy double act with John Fashanu. A real genius and top talent from the world of dance and theatre.
