After Dinner Speakers: Vivien Creegor, Mike Lynch, Frank Meeks
Vivien Creegor has been the anchor newsreader for the award winning, Sky World News since 1989. She joined Sky after a meteoric rise to fame with BBC Television. She is also the First British Woman to have the honour to Chair a number of United Nations Conferences on Women's Issues. Alongside presenting the news programme every evening, Vivien also presents topical specials on subjects such as health, budgets, world finances and she works daily interviewing World Leaders and Prime Ministers. Vivien is one of a number of famous women to have started their careers as a secretary with the BBC. She rose through the ranks, via Production Assistant for BBC Radio Drama and an abridger for BBC Radio 4's "A Book at Bedtime". She ended up reading the news on BBC1, BBC2 and BBC Radio 4.
