Tracy Shaw is best known for her role as hairdresser Maxine Peacock in Coronation Street. A role she portrayed for seven years from 1995 until the characters untimely death at the hands of evil villain Richard Hillman played by Brian Capron. Since leaving the Street, Tracy has been touring with Jason Connery in The Blue Room, suffering the strains of Anorexia and depression, Tracy had to pull out of a production of Hamlet, in which she was to have played Ophelia. Once voted one of the sexiest women in Britain, Tracy is working towards an improvement in her health that will bring back her customary vibrancy.
