After Dinner Speakers: The Funking Barstewards, Lesley Joseph, Tom Farmer

The Funking Barstewards cover all the classic disco hits of the 70's such as "Le Freak" "Staying alive" "Lost in Music" "Boogie Wonderland" " We are Music" climaxing in a show stopping version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. The Funking Barstewards are the perfect band for any night club, university ball, corporate function or private party, blanding outstanding musical ability with suitably outrageous costumes and humour as the 'drag' you back to the decade taht taste forgot! Since 1990 The Funking Barstewards have sold out almost every major venue in London, they have also played extensively throughout the UK on the University/College circuit. They are unanimously accepted by the Mean Fiddler organisation as the most successful 'covers' band at their venues and were voted 'Best Live Band' by their audiences. Sell out shows at the Forum and the Grand in London, a performance on The Big Breakfast and weekly appearances as the house band on the Sky TV quiz show 'Roll with it' have helped increase the band's popularity. The band also play extensively at corporate functions and parties.
