Steve Martin, one of the most diversified performers in the motion picture industry today, has been successful not only as an actor, but also as a writer of and performer in some of the most popular movies of recent film history. Born in Waco, Texas and raised in Southern California, Mr. Martin became a television writer in the late 1960's, by the end of the decade he was performing his own material in clubs and on television. Launched by frequent appearances on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, Steve Martin went on to star in several mega hit film including Trains, Planes and Automobiles with John Candy, Parenthood, Father of The Bride and Roxanne. He also wrote and starred in LA Story released in 1991.Steve remains actively involved in film production and Direction, he is a singularly unique personality from the glitzy world of Hollywood.
