After Dinner Speakers: Sophie Grigson, Adam Ant, Christine Hamilton
Sophie Grigson, daughter of the legendary food writer Jane Grigson, has followed in her mother's footsteps writing numerous best-selling cookery books and becoming a familiar face on our TV screens.
Despite her famous mum and being surrounded by foodies from the year dot, Sophie early career was spent in pop video production. It wasn't long however before an interest in small ethnic food shops led her to start experimenting in her cooking and writing articles.
Since then she has successful cookery books, including Fish, Herbs, Sunshine Food and Meat Course. In addition she has appeared on six TV series and contributed recipes and food columns the Evening Standard, the Independent and the Sunday Times. In 2001 she won the Guild of Food Writers Cookery Journalist Award.
