After Dinner Speakers: Shane Ritchie, Howard Stableford, Jesse Jackson
Shane Ritchie is best known for his numerous appearances as a comedian and presenter. Having studied acting as a teenager, he has since furthered his studies in Los Angeles with the Maurice Kosloff School of Method Acting. Early theatre appearances for him included ‘Who Killed Captain Scarlett?’ for the Moonshine Theatre, ‘Stand up and be Counted, and ‘Class Enemy.’ In 1993, Shane took on the role as Kenickie in London’ s West End musical Grease, before taking the lead, Danny Zuco, the following year. He has also been in several recent television series prior to Grease such as the BBC’s “Run the Risk,” hosting the daytime television show, “Win, Lose or draw,” and Granada’s “The Shane Ritchie experience.” Shane is a much sought after performer, and makes a sharp and witty after dinner speaker or awards host.
