After Dinner Speakers: Peter Sissons, Bill Bradley, Ben Elton
Peter Sissons is probably British television's most experienced presenter of News. For nearly forty years he has worked for ITN, Channel Four, and the BBC- presenting all the main terrestrial bulletins, and a host of special programmes on major events. He also succeeded Sir Robin Day as presenter of the BBC's flagship discussion programme, Question Time. His latest move is from the BBC's Ten O’clock News, to BBC News 24.
When Channel 4 was launched in 1982 Peter was chosen to present their 7pm-flagship news programme and in 1984 he was named by the Broadcasting Press Guild as the Best Front of Camera Performer
Peter Sissons is also an experienced and accomplished presenter and moderator of corporate events, from conferences involving several thousand, to more intimate management seminars. He specialises in adapting the famous Question Time format for corporate use.
