After Dinner Speakers: Mary Peters, The Who, Dani Behr

Mary Peters is best known for her triumphant Athletics career. During the years 1961-1974 Mary represented Northern Ireland and Great Britain winning many accolades during these times, her most famous being the Pentathlon Gold World Record in the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. In 1974 Mary acquired the Pentathlon Gold in the Commonwealth Games whilst representing Northern Ireland. Since then Mary's life has changed dramatically, she has managed her own business 'Mary Peters Health Club' for 18 years. The Mary Peters Track in Northern Ireland was resurfaced due to money raised by Mary and various other charities have benefited to the tune of £300,000, she also holds a large variety of Presidencies and Chairmanships to various charities and sports councils. Mary has broadcast with ITV and BBC Radio and Television and also New Zealand Radio, she has written columns in The Irish Editions of The Star Newspaper and Daily Mail. Mary has widened her experience lecturing internationally on fitness, motivation and women in sport and on behalf of many corporate bodies. "After dinner" speaking also takes up a lot of Mary's time, as does endorsement of selected products.
