Julia Carling has been a presenter on VH1 since it started in September 1994. As well as her weekend show. She is a regular presenter on VH1 specials and was one of only a few presenters granted interviews with Cher, Whitney Houston and Elton John in New York.She is the host of the Meridian Television travel programme BON VOYAGE, as well as OOPS!, a new prime time panel-game show also for Meridian.Whilst pregnant with her first child, she recently presented “CELEBRITY BABY” for SKY 1.Julia hosted her own style and beauty programme “JULIA CARLING’S STYLE GUIDE” on Granada Breeze. She co-hosted “LIVETIME” with George Hamilton in November 1998 and has stood in for Judy Finnigan on “THIS MORNING”.Julia has been a presenter on “THE BIG BREAKFAST” and was a regular presenter of “CAPITAL WOMAN” on the Carlton Network as well as “DREAM TICKET” for LWT. She has covered the London Film Festival for HEART Radio and hosted the first Cable Guide Awards in 1998.Also in 1998, she took part in the London Marathon to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and walked the full 26 mile course in just over six hours. In October 1999, she changed her name to Julia Heineken for the duration of the Rugby World Cup as part of a sponsored event by Heineken in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer.Julia Carling writes regularly on health and beauty for a number of publications and is a vegetarian and an animal lover.
