After Dinner Speakers: Jonathan Porritt, Melinda Messenger, Russell Watson

After his education at Eton and Magdalen College, Oxford, Jonathan Porritt became co-chairman of the Ecology Party (now the Green Party) whilst still teaching English and Drama at a school in London.Jonathan is director of Forum for the Future, and he is one of the best known and most influential advocates for the environment. He presented the television series' 'Where on Earth are we Going?' and 'Global Concerns', and he is a well known journalist and author. In 1996 Jonathan founded the Forum for the Future, a charity campaigning for solutions to today's environmental problems. He is also an advisor on environmental issues to many bodies and is a member of Robin Cook's Green Globe Task Force. Jonathan is an excellent speaker on any Green issues, whose opinions are always thought provoking.
