After Dinner Speakers: Joanna Lumley, Grace Jones, Paul & Ole Morocco

After leaving school, Joanna Lumley became a successful model before moving into acting. Her television debut was as a patient in Emergency Ward 10, and then went on to appear in eight episodes of Coronation street in 1973. In 1976, she joined Patrick McNee and Gareth Hunt in the New Avengers, which ran until 1977, where she played the memorable Purdy. Amongst numerous voice-overs for commercials and many series, probably one of her most notorious roles has been as Patsy in the vastly popular Absolutely Fabulous where so co-starred alongside Jennifer Saunders, which ran for three series and a movie. Her film career has also been long and varied, and Joanna has appeared as a Bond Girl in the film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and The Trail of the Pink Panther to name a few. Involved in many charities, Joanna is an eloquent and glamorous speaker for charity events or awards hosting.
