After Dinner Speakers: Jeremy Clarkson, Comedy Store Players, Edward Goldsmith

Presenter of BBC2's 'Top Gear' since 1989, Jeremy Clarkson is well known for his acerbic style and witty but shrewd observations. As well as contributing to many specialist car magazines over the year - he was a columnist for 'Performance Car' for seven years - Jeremy has written for 'Esquire' with weekly columns in the 'Sunday Times' and the 'Sun' newspapers as well as contributing to 'BBC Top Gear Magazine'. Since starting work with the BBC on 'Top Gear', Jeremy has presented a four part series 'Clarkson's Star Cars'. The six part series of 'Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld' hit the screen to great acclaim. This was followed by the very successful six part series 'Jeremy Clarkson's Extreme Machines' in January 1998, which took him out of cars and into some seriously big boys' toys. In February 1998 he also co-hosted 'Robot Wars' with Philippa Forrester and in the summer of 1998, he co-presented the first series of 'Top Gear Waterworld'. The book, 'Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld' and video 'Best of the Motorworld' accompanied the series, plus a video of 'Extreme Machines'. Other video titles include 'Jeremy Clarkson Unleashed', 'Apocalypse Clarkson' and 'Motorsport Mayhem'. His other books are 'Clarkson on Cars', 'Clarkson's Hot 100' and 'Planet Dagenham'. Winner - Royal Television Society Best Presenter Award 1997
