Jeremy Bates was Britains best tennis player in the ‘80s being the Mixed Doubles Champion at Wimbledon in 1987, at the Australian Open in 1991 and an Australian Open Doubles Finalist in 1988. He was also the British National Champion in 1985-1994 and a member of the Great Britain Davis Cup Team from 1984 -94. He has many interests in tennis and other fields including patronising CRY, a charitable organisation working for healthy hearts in young sportsmen and women.
